Speeches Lesson Plan 1

Each lesson plan in this 'Speeches' series includes learning outcomes, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation notes, resources and a step-by-step learning sequence. In this lesson plan students will learn about the basic format of a speech. After some warm-up exercises, students take a look at the format of an example speech. (Question prompts are provided for the teacher.) The teacher then models writing a speech based on the given notes, before students plan their own speech using the attached template.
