Persuasive presentation: Lesson plan 1

Each lesson plan in this 'Persuasive Presentation' series includes learning outcomes, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation notes, resources and a step-by-step learning sequence. In this lesson students will learn to write a persuasive statement using persuasive language and techniques. After a warm-up exercise students and a peek at an example, students will draft their own persuasive statement with the assistance of a template. The end of the student provides students with time to reflect on their learning, and homework task is provided for students to work on out of the classroom.
