Persuasive presentation: Lesson plan 2

Convincing people to take action

Each lesson plan in this 'Persuasive Presentation' series includes learning outcomes, success criteria, pre-lesson preparation notes, resources and a step-by-step learning sequence. In this lesson students will learn to use their persuasive statements to encourage others to take action. The teacher will model a strong persuasive statement before setting a task for students to write a persuasive statement on reducing waste. The lesson concludes with students giving feedback to each other as to whether their statements were persuasive or not. A homework task is also provided for students to work on outside of the classroom.
