Spelling game: Place in sequential order

Packed in this e-unit is a fun and interactive game for teachers to run in their class. The unit provides game instructions for the teacher, game cards to be photocopied and prepared for students, and ideas to make the game harder or easier depending on each groups ability. Students will play in groups and rid of the cards in their hand by placing three or more consecutive alphabet letter cards down in front of them, with the aim of being rid of all cards by the end of the round ! As the game is designed for younger students, the teacher will support each group throughout the exercise.
