Word game: Consonant blend bingo

Packed in this e-unit is a fun and interactive bingo game for teachers to run in their class. The unit provides game instructions for the teacher, resources to be photocopied and prepared for students, and ideas to make the game harder or easier depending on each groups ability. Students will play in groups and aim to circle each consonant blend they hear the caller sound out, and be the first player to circle all the words on their bingo card. As the game is designed for younger students, the teacher will act as the caller and support each group throughout the exercise.
